The developer of The Red Balloons started his research and development in the 1980’s after several personal catastrophes with his own relationships.  Rather than sit and blame others for his relationship failures he decided to find out what actually makes a relationship work and why.

Is it more than simply having things in common or is it something far more powerful and out of our own control?

Are we born this way?  Can we change?  These questions and more he spent in depth dwelling on.
